U-Haul of Santa Rosa is getting ready for an upgrade. Though most of the time, their design and planning is completed in house, U-Haul sought out FDC, a local experienced General Contractor, to help navigate the City of Santa Rosa Planning Department. In doing so, FDC was invited to be a part of the pre-construction planning and design build team. Over the course of two years, FDC has created comparative budgets and schedules that U-Haul is using to dial in the details of their new upgraded facility on Santa Rosa Ave. The due diligence taken throughout pre-construction will increase efficiency as we move into the construction phase. This project is scheduled to break ground summer of 2025 and consists of a complete overhaul of the site and new podium and light gauge metal framing construction.
