Trinchero Estate Wine Cave
The Trinchero Wine Cave—part of the Trinchero Family Estate in St. Helena—is a meticulously designed and exquisitely finished 4,300 SF underground barrel-aging facility, built by FDC as phase three of the winery’s expansion. Renovation and expansion of an existing older cave using reinforced shotcrete, drainage, and waterproofing systems to maintain optimal storage conditions of 55–60°F and 70–80% humidity, integrated it perfectly into the 22-acre estate—alongside a 22,000 SF production facility, 8,500 SF hospitality center, and 7,500 SF tasting room. This subterranean wine-aging environment not only enhances operational efficiency and quality control, but also serves as a scenic, private venue for cave tours, barrel tastings, and exclusive events—making it central to Trinchero’s luxury visitor experience.
