URJ Camp Newman Dining Hall
The Dining Hall, part of URJ Camp Newman’s 500-acre year-round retreat center and summer camp, serves breakfast lunch and dinner to 350 people year-round and up to 700 people in the summer. FDC, selected as the Design Build contractor, brought functionality and aesthetics together to create a Dining Hall that is practical and impressive. The Camp Newman Dining Hall includes a 2,000 SF Full Commercial Kitchen, 700 SF Serving Room, 6,500 SF Dining Room, and plenty of storage and restrooms. Two video walls can be found in the Dining Room. They can be used for one large presentation or stand alone for smaller presentations. Opening and closing the two operable partitions allow the space to be divided as needed for seasonal retreats. The Dining Hall is one of the many structures at Camp Newman that create an awe-inspiring experience for campers and corporate guests alike.
